Log in to Comerica Web Banking®, click on mobile banking tab and follow instructions.
What accounts are eligible for Comerica Mobile Banking? (Back to top)
All accounts registered through Comerica Web Banking® except Home Equity and Installment loans are eligible for use with Comerica Mobile Banking.You may choose which accounts to use with Comerica Mobile Banking when registering your mobile phone.
How many accounts can I register? (Back to top)
You can register as many accounts as you have in Comerica Web Banking®. For text banking, we recommend 3 to 4 accounts due to the 160 character limit. However, if you choose to register more than 4 accounts, multiple text messages may need to be sent to accommodate your request.
What should I do if I have not received the activation code on my mobile phone? (Back to top)
If you have not received your activation code, please make sure your mobile phone number is entered correctly on the mobile banking tab within Comerica Mobile Banking. If it is, please follow the steps below:
  1. Verify your mobile phone is turned on, and able to receive text messages. You may need to consult your mobile carrier if you are unsure if you can receive text messages.
  2. Contact your mobile carrier and make sure your mobile phone is able to send and receive SMS messages to and from short codes.
  3. Have the activation code resent to your mobile phone by navigating to the mobile banking main menu and select the “Get a new activation code” option.

Is there a cost for Comerica Mobile Banking? (Back to top)
No, Comerica Mobile Banking is free to all Comerica Web Banking® customers. However, standard text and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile service agreement for details on specific fees and charges.
What does “standard text and data rates may apply” mean? (Back to top)
Every mobile carrier has a different rate plan for text messaging and data services access. You may be charged per use, or pay a flat rate for unlimited usage each month. You may also incur different fees for text messaging and data services access. Please contact your mobile carrier directly if you aren’t sure what fees you may be charged to use text and browse the web.
Does Comerica Mobile Banking work in other languages? (Back to top)
Comerica Mobile Banking is currently only available in English.

What if my mobile phone is lost or stolen? (Back to top)
In the event your mobile phone is either lost or stolen, report it immediately to your mobile carrier. Then you should immediately log on to Comerica Web Banking® from your computer and delete that mobile phone number from the mobile banking tab.

What if I change my mobile phone number? (Back to top)
If your mobile phone number changes, you must log in to Comerica Web Banking® and update your phone number in your mobile profile.
What if I upgrade my phone? (Back to top)
As long as you do not change your mobile carrier or phone number, changes shouldn’t be necessary.
Can I register more than one phone to the same Comerica Web Banking® User ID? (Back to top)
Yes. You may register more than one phone.
Can my phone be registered to multiple User IDs? (Back to top)
No, that is not available at this time.
